“For todays class, we have a group assignment. You should strategically pick your members; the goal is to get through the obstacles that your teachers and I set up in the woods and get to the flag at the end the quickest. You aren’t allowed to use your quirks during this as it’s intended to train your physical strength and combat abilities. There’s a couple different roots that you can take, but all are equally challenging. Pick your groups now.”

You audibly sighed to yourself at the end of Aizawas announcement. There was no way that you were going to get picked for a group and you couldn’t blame your peers. Sure, you were strong when using your quirk, you could use it to your get the advantage on any situation, but doing something physical didn’t exactly fit your clumsy nature. You stayed to the outskirts of your classmates, waiting till everyone was done with their groups so that whoever lacked a member could pick you last unproblematically.

“Y/N! You’re on my team!”

“Eh!?” You questioned back, wide eyes at your blonde classmate.

You and Bakugou had an interesting relationship. When you first saw him in UA you instantly felt like you needed a glass of water, the guy was drop dead gorgeous. It was inevitable that you were going to spend the rest of the year day dreaming about him. That was, until he opened his mouth to tell Deku that he was going to kill him and you realized he was an ass.

“Aw damn seriously! I thought you were gonna be the new Mr. McDreamy Bakugou! I knew it was true good to be true!” You had exclaimed your inner thoughts to the whole class without even thinking to sensor yourself.

The classroom went quiet for about three seconds until Kirishima and Sero started snickering and Bakugou started swearing as his face turned bright red. He quickly excited with a mention of “needing water,” and “shut up, you extras,” without meeting your eyes.

Ever since that day Bakugou had been remarkably nice to you. So nice, it made situations like this a little embarrassing.

You were the least suited person to be doing this exercise, in fact, you’d probably end up slowing the group down considering the last time Aizawa made you do the rock climbing exercise you fell on your ass and had to stay till dinner to get to the top. So why the hell was Katsuki Bakugou, top of his class and the most competitive, trying to get you to be on his team. It was rediculous.

Kirishima who had earlier just stood next to Bakugou stating by the gesture that he was on his team without asking looked wide eyed at his teammate.

“Bakubro seriously! I know you like her but Y/N can’t do the obstacles!….. Sorry! No offense Y/N it’s just not your strong suit!” Kirishima said turning to you to apologize at the end.

“None taken,” you responded to the red head.

“Bakugou would have a fit if she was on anyone elses team, we all know that his messed up hero complex makes him think he HAS to be the only one to save her,” Jirou remarked from the group next to him rolling her eyes.

“YOU WANNA REPEAT THAT!? I’LL BEAT YOU’RE CHARGER BOY TO A PULP!” Bakugou’s hands were already sparking.

“Hey, hey, hey, calm down,” you intervened touching his shoulder. “I’d be on your team but I don’t think it really makes sense since you and Kirishima could probably win this.”

Bakugou quickly grabbed your hand pulling it down and using it to give you a final tug closer into the small group of him and Kirishima.

“I want you… on our team. Yea, you’ll probably only slow us down but you’re too good to be on a team with any of these extras. Plus, if you need help, we all know I’m the best person to help you,” he explained in a tone that told you the conversation was done.

“A-alright,” you responded with a blush and a shrug, “Just don’t blame me if you loose.”

Guess it was settled. Poor Kirishima.

“AW! THEY’RE IN LOVE!” Mina screamed watching with Uraka staring equally as excited behind her.

“SHUT UP EXTRAS!”

Headcanon for Dating Bakugou Katsuki=

-His competitive nature makes him as showy as ever. He’s absolutely convinced that his relationship is the best and that everyone is jealous of what he and you have because of course you guys are #1.

-I think because of this, he actually wouldn’t care about PDA at all. He’d be trying to get it on with you in the middle of the dorm living rooms and everyone would be appalled.

“Bakugou bro I know you’re not seriously doing this in front of all of us right now.”

“Hah!? You extras are just jealous. Stop looking then.”

-Would be super protective whenever you fought someone. He wouldn’t tell anyone to go easy on you because he believed in how strong you were but he’d always be completely focused needing to watch whatever happened. Would be flying over to you through the explosions on his hands once the match was over.

-We all know this man always has a chip on his shoulder. Though he usually thinks people are looking down on him, his new concern with others once you start dating is that they are trying to keep you apart.

-Actually glared at Aizawa when the dorm room assignments came out because you were the furthest person possible away from him.

-Overall a great boyfriend whose super healthy to be with because although he’s super strong acting in acts of protective and possessiveness, it’s never in a way that diminishes you but is hot ;)
